At Evolve Painting, we believe in total transparency. Our goal is to make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied, so we believe in no surprises charges or hidden fees. We also love to work alongside homeowners to achieve their desired results. Here is an outline of our processes for both interior and exterior paint jobs, including tips for how to best prepare each room.
Evolve’s Interior Painting Process
Preparation – We take special care to arrange and cover all of your furniture and appliances using clean plastic sheeting as well as using drop cloths to protect your floors.
Repairs – Before we apply paint, we take the time to fix any holes or cracks. Repairs are typically done based on the initial consultation or by request.
Painting – Primer is applied where needed and then we apply a premium quality paint. If the colour you ordered is not what you expected we are also able to customize the tint ourselves.
Cleanup – Once the paint has been applied to our satisfaction, we remove all of our materials and virtually any trace that we were there by sweeping, vacuuming and mopping up after ourselves. We then move your furniture back to their original locations.
Inspection – Finally, we do a thorough inspection of our work and then we invite you to perform your own final check. Visit our guarantees page to learn more about how we stand behind our finished product. We want you to be 100% satisfied.
Important Considerations:
- You know best what works for your household and what doesn’t, so let us know what room you’d like us to start in or what order you’d like the rooms painted.
- Keep in mind that while we try to have rooms finished as quickly as possible, some rooms may remain out of use for longer than others. Even though we use the highest quality, low odour paint products, anyone in your household sensitive to the odours may need to plan on sleeping in another room.
- If we get ahead of ourselves, usually we will shift our focus to areas that are not occupied, such as hallways, stairwells, guest rooms or foyers, so that we can keep working with minimal disruption to you and your family.
- Specialized or complex projects that involve repairing or wallpapering a room may take longer before they can be occupied again.
